Why is Cloud Software Group separating Arctera and Enterprise Vault?
Arctera Unified Platform and Enterprise Vault Complete bring together an entire data governance toolkit under a unified cloud-based (Arctera) or on-premises system (EV). The Arctera changes and the new EV platform aim to simplify services and reduce fragmented workflows.
How will the Arctera changes impact me as a customer?
The platform updates and changes to product licensing will impact renewal terms and the availability of software bundles. Subscription and budget changes can impact current Arctera and EV customers’ long-term data governance strategies.
What about managed services? Customer support?
As part of the changes, Arctera no longer offers managed services for on-premises products. Bluesource continues to offer our managed services for all on-premises Arctera products
